The Ministry of Corporate Affairs in India is set to release 56 new web-based forms in January for reporting purposes required by the Companies Act. These forms will be used on the updated version of the MCA21 compliance portal.

According to an official statement on the ministry’s website, 10 forms will be launched on January 9 and the remaining 46 forms will be released on January 23.

To assist with the implementation of these forms on the updated MCA21 portal, stakeholders should be aware that company e-filings on the current version of the portal will be temporarily unavailable from January 7 to January 8 for the 10 forms that are scheduled to be launched on January 9, according to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has announced that company e-filings on the current version of the portal will be disabled from January 7 to January 22 for the 46 forms that are planned for release on January 23.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has announced that offline payments for the 56 forms in the version 2 module using the “pay later” option will be halted from December 28. The current version of the portal for company filings will still be available for all forms except for the 56 new forms, and stakeholders are advised to make necessary arrangements.
